NEW TEACHING SPACE FOR SHU

Mascot have completed the alterations and refurbishment of Aspect Court.

Mascot Management were appointed by the University in Jan 2011 to develop the brief to convert an existing office block into new teaching accommodation for post graduate students. A significant amount of work was required to ensure that the project was feasible and that the project could proceed. This involved working closely with the University’s Estates Department and user groups to ensure all aspects of the brief and the budget were covered to meet their aspirations.

Mascot Management then undertook the PQQ and tender process which was based on a full design and construct turnkey approach, including furniture, AV and data installations based on a detailed brief and specification with outline floor layouts.

Mascot were the contract administrator for the construction phase. The project was completed in September 2011.
