OPEN TENDER FOR NEW LIGHT INDUSTRIAL UNITS

An Open Tender Notice has been issued for a new light industrial development at Hoyland near Barnsley named The Oval.

The project is a new Light Industrial building split into 7 units with a total floor area of 3475m2, to be built as a steel portal framed structure with roof and wall cladding, curtain walling, good doors and two storey offices.
The estimated value is £3.5m with a projected start in February 2022.
Externally there are concrete service yards,car parking and landscaping.
There are elements of Contractor Design - including steel frame, roof and wall cladding, curtain walling, doors and windows, M&E installations and office fit out.
Funding is partly being provided through the Jessica programme and collateral warranties will be required from the Contractor and Sub-contractors with a design responsibility.
